Scott Seely has been working with Microsoft tools and technologies since the early 1980s. He is the author of several books, including two on Web Services and one on Windows Shell Programming. Scott worked for Microsoft in Redmond from 2000 through 2006 as a member of MSDN, Windows Communication Foundation, and as part of the Microsoft Transactions team. Since arriving in Chicago-land in 2006, he has worked as an Enterprise Architect at various locations in Cook and Lake counties.

In 2007, Scott traveled the United States teaching various companies how to use Windows Communication Foundation for Wintellect. In 2008, Scott is working with a handful of other people in Lake County Illinois to found the Lake County .NET Users Group.
